Paul-Magnus Andersson joined IPrime Rentsch Kaelin AG in 2021 as a patent engineer. After his undergraduate studies in physics, he deepened his scientific knowledge through master studies in applied geophysics at the universities of ETH Zurich, RWTH Aachen and TU Delft. As part of his master's thesis, he conducted research at the Swiss Seismological Service (SED) in the field of engineering seismology.

In the course of his work in industry, Paul-Magnus Andersson acquired a wide range of expertise. He has worked for an international corporation focusing on tool coatings and surface engineering, and for a start-up in the field of digital urban planning using photogrammetry and immersive technologies. Most recently, he was responsible for sensor technology in a large-scale project for the long-term geological storage of radioactive waste.
