Martin Willy advises companies and inventors as a patent attorney in obtaining, enforcing and defending intellectual property rights, in particular patents, trademarks and designs. His practice includes conducting patent grant proceedings, representing clients in opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office and preparing expert opinions on patent infringement and validity. He also advises clients in disputes before the Swiss Federal Patent Court and is authorized to represent parties before the UPC (Unified Patent Court).
He has broad interdisciplinary knowledge and experience in a variety of industries, such as mechanical engineering, life sciences and medical technology. His entrepreneurial focus and solution oriented advice are particularly appreciated by SMEs and startups.
In addition to the above-mentioned technical fields, Martin Willy has a good knowledge of technical payments and transactions as well as the protection of plant inventions.
